Now in it’s third year the Dorset International Tango Festival in Dorchester has established itself as a friendly and well run Festival that combines quality teaching in a relaxed atmosphere. We limit spaces on the workshops and milonga attendance so that everyone is able to enjoy the Festival in comfort.

The 2nd Bournemouth Aires Festival will take place again at the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth, which boasts 2 fabulous ballrooms with sprung floors! 


We are putting together another great weekend and there will be the choice of two packages:


CON BULIN - to include workshops with all teachers, 3 milongas and full accommodation with breakfast and 3 course dinner for the amazing all in price of £250pp!


SIN BULIN starts from 8.30pm on the Friday evening, includes the 3 milongas and the 5 workshops with all teachers for £145pp.


CON BULIN Package

The price of £250pp includes:

- A weekend of workshops with all teaching couples, plus 3 milongas with performances by all couples

- Bucks Fizz reception on opening night.

- Two nights accommodation at the Marsham Court Hotel with three course table d'hote evening meal and full English breakfast.


SIN BULIN Package

The price of £150pp includes:

- A weekend of workshops with all teaching couples, plus 3 milongas with performances by all couples. 

Please note, the opening milonga starts at 8.30pm on the Friday evening.

Bookings

All bookings for the CON BULIN (with accommodation), and SIN BULIN (no accommodation) package to be made through Tango Fandango directly, please specify which room type you require and we will give you bank details for a transfer, we can be contacted via 01202 298537, email us directly info@tango-fandango.co.uk or message us via Facebook.


Deposits

A deposit of £75 (non refundable), is required for both packages with the balance to be paid in full 12 weeks before the start of the Festival.


Price of £250pp quoted is for a shared inland view room. Single occupancy rooms are an additional £10 per room per night. Sea view rooms supplemented £10 per room per night, subject to availability and on request.


Weekend attendees will be divided into 2 groups - each group will be allocated places in the 2 ballrooms so they will be able to take 5 workshops with all 5 teaching couples.

Leonardo & Tracey

Leonardo and Tracey are the hosts and organisers of 2 major annual Festivals in the UK. Leo is one of the most authentic Milongueros currently living in the UK. After 16 years of living and teaching in London, he moved to the Bournemouth area and together with his partner Tracey has established the largest Argentine Tango School in Dorset over the last 3 years.

Luis & Elizabeth

Luis & Elizabeth return to Dorset after a very popular debut at our recent Bournemouth Aires Festival. This couples teaching was a hit with many of our students and we are delighted to be able to welcome them back. They will be doing 1 workshop and a performance at the Festival and Luis will also be Djing for part of the evening with Leo on Saturday evening at the Grand Milonga.

This couple are based in Sardinia and have a popular School in Cagliari. They give clear, concise teaching focusing in the Milonguero style of Tango and were extremely popular at  last years Bournemouth Aires so that we had no hesitation in asking them to return in 2020. 


Diogo and Laia

Diogo & Laia

New for the Festival for 2020, we are happy to have with us Diogo and Laia. From Brazil and Spain they both get grew up in Buenos Aires and specialise in the Salon and Fantasia style of Tango. They have taught and performed in numerous places around the world including some of the most well known milongas in Buenos Aires.

Faggiano Duo

The Faggiano Duo

We are delighted to welcome to the Festival the incredibly talented Faggiano Duo. These two brothers are rising stars in Argentina, although young they come from a Tango Guitar family and consequently have played guitar all their lives. They will be providing music throughout the Festival and you will be stunned by their playing!

- By purchasing a ticket to the festival you consent to filming, sound recording and photography as a member of the audience and such material may be used for commercial or non-commercial use.

- The organisers shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind.

- If the festival is cancelled, the organisers shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by the ticket holder, including but not limited to, accommodation or transport costs or any direct or indirect losses or damage of whatever kind.

- Tickets are not transferable or refundable.
