The Tango Fandango Argentine Tango Academy
Leo and Tracey have made Tango Fandango one of the top schools of Argentine Tango in the UK since they started their partnership. In addition to providing clear and concise teaching, they also cultivate the friendship and community spirit of Tango. In South London, Leo created and hosted for over 15 years one of London’s longest running and prestigious milongas, ‘El Portenito,’ inviting some of the world’s most famous dancers, teachers and musicians to teach, dance and play.
Together, they have performed at numerous prestigious venues, including re-establishing and hosting the Tango Supper at the renowned Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London for 5 years and at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.
Leo and Tracey organise many Tango events including two highly successful International Tango Festivals - ‘the Dorset Tango Festival’ and ‘Bournemouth Aires’. They have also published their own teaching methodology in their book, The ABC of Argentine Tango, and have created and directed their own theatre production, Postcards of Tango, featuring an international cast.
Leaving London in 2016, Tango Fandango are now based in Dorset and teach in Bournemouth and throughout the South. Classes are friendly, fun and relaxed and everyone is welcome!
